About Us:
My Husband ( Leland) & I (Lesa) both grew up in the country always around animals & livestock..My husband grew up on a cattle ranch west river. He & his father worked the ranch for 35 years until the owners passed on..He continues his love of cattle & the outdoors. He works at a Livestock Sale Barn now & has for the last 9 years. His general knowledge of cattle & farm work is outstanding, as he spent his entire life around the ranch, cattle, farming & trucking.
I was lucky enough to actually meet him & we hit it off right away..He grew up along side my fathers brothers & sisters so after we met it was so much fun, He could tell me stuff about grandma & my aunts & uncles I never knew about..So basically it's like we have been together all our lives..
So I guess I am one of the lucky ones, I got to marry my dream, an ALL AMERICAN COWBOY!! How cool is that..
As for me well I was always the one with the animals. when I was a kid we had a pet rattle snake, a pet raccoon, a pet skunk, badger & lots of Fox. My favorite was a silver/red cross fox kit I raised her name was Timber..I got my first poodle when I was 12 & have never not had a dog or 2 or 3 or 4 by my side..I knew from a very young age I would never be able to have children of my own So I guess I put that "Mothering" instinct into the animals..I have always been a sucker for baby animals of any kind...I LOVE All animals..Sometimes it is hard to let them go, But we all must let things go we love in life. Just remember to enjoy them while you have them.
ALWAYS tell your loved one's you love them..
One day you might not get to say it!!
ENJOY life & Do the Things In life you want to do.. Life is short & you just never know what might happen to someone or something you Love..So Don't say " I should of" done that, Instead "I did that", wether the outcome is good or bad , consider it one of life's lessons..Everyday is a new page in the book of life, ONLY you get to write it!
